SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place will once again transform into a motorsport entertainment epicentre with the nation’s most competitive Monster Truck Tour set to take over MacDonald Island Park with two shows on September 15 & 16.

2017 Fort McMurray Half Marathon

Celebrate a day of outdoor fun and fitness with the Fort McMurray Half Marathon. The Fort McMurray Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, September 17 and includes a Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and 3km road races and a Kids Fun Run. Participants can sign up to complete distances of varying length up to 21K, with opportunities for runners of all ages to get active, meet new people and have fun!

Masquerade Ball in support of the Fort McMurray SPCA

On Saturday, October 28th, 2017 the Shell Place Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a glamorous setting to host the region’s first Masquerade Ball.  This unique and elegant evening will raise essential funding for the Fort McMurray SPCA that has been serving community residents and companion animals for over 37 years.
