MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by Kirschner Family Corporation
MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by Kirschner Family Corporation is a no-fee community art gallery that provides visual artists with an exhibit space equipped with a professional hanging and lighting system.
The guiding principle of the gallery is the promotion of local and regional artists, as well as developing an appreciation for visual art within our community. We offer art lessons for children, youth, adults and seniors. We also organize school programs and Community Art Projects.
The MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by Kirschner Family Corporation is located on the second floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park.
MacDonald Island Dance Academy
MacDonald Island Park is proud to announce the creation of MacDonald Island Dance Academy under the collaborative direction of Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance Instructor Miss Katie Eustace and Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) Instructor Dara-Jane Lake. MacDonald Island Dance Academy focuses on developing young, passionate dancers while striving to be the heart of the dance community in our region. We are committed to providing the highest quality instruction in a fun environment that welcomes dancers of all skill levels. MacDonald Island Dance Academy will focus on Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Ballet and will also be offering Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Exams, vocational ballet training and pointe training.
