RMWB Street Banner Showcase: Everyday Heroism, Local Legends

The annual RMWB Street Banner Program invites residents 12 and older to design artwork that is displayed on streetlights across Fort McMurray and the surrounding rural communities. Up to fourteen (14) designs will be selected to showcase the 2026 Street Banner series to be displayed in Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo locations.

This year's theme is: Everyday Heroism, Local Legends. Banner artworks embody the spirit of those who make a difference in our everyday lives, through acts of kindness, community service or inspiring achievements.

The Street Banner exhibit will be on display at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park from Monday, June 22 to Friday, July 31, 2026.
