Collective Threads - Community Art Exhibition
Arts Council Wood Buffalo’s Collective Threads Community Art Exhibition returns for its second year, bringing together a dynamic mix of visual art from across the Wood Buffalo region. Open to artists of all backgrounds, ages, experience levels, and disciplines, this open-call exhibition highlights emerging and established artists alike to share their work in this group exhibition.
From September 3 to October 31, 2026, the Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island will be filled with artwork reflecting the range and energy of Wood Buffalo’s creative community. Collective Threads opens September 3 with an opening reception from 6:30–8:00 PM, kicking off the official proclamation of September as Arts Month in Wood Buffalo, celebrating the important role arts and culture play in building a vibrant community.
