Free family fun is back for Canada Day at MacDonald Island Park! Join us at SMS Equipment Stadium on June 30 and July 1 for two days of live entertainment, family activities, and community celebration.

June 30 - Free Community Concert & Fireworks

Start your Canada Day celebrations with a free community concert featuring an exciting lineup of Canadian talent on the Country 93.3 Music Main Stage, including the Derina Harvey Band, Tyler Whelan, Shantelle Davidson, and Matty Parlee.

Bring your lawn chairs, enjoy local food vendors, and spend the evening celebrating with friends, family, and neighbours. The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display, with some of the best on-Island viewing available from inside SMS Equipment Stadium.

Admission is free and no tickets are required.

July 1 - Free Family Fun Activities

The celebration continues on Canada Day with an afternoon of free family fun at SMS Equipment Stadium. Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, entertainment, games, and interactive experiences designed for all ages. From face painting and inflatables to live entertainment and community programming, there will be plenty to keep the whole family smiling.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome!

- Audio/Visual Recording Devices (includes GoPro, Google Glass, Spectacles, etc.)
- Selfie Sticks, Tripods, Monopods, Telescopic or similar devices
- Outside Food, Beverage, or Alcohol with the exception of sealed water bottles and kids snacks
- Weapons, Firearms, Pepper Spray, Pocket Knives or Mace
- Illegal Drugs or Substances
- Flammable Liquids, Aerosol Cans, or Permanent Markers
- Flashlights, Laser Pointers, Flares, or Fireworks
- Noise Making Devices (i.e. Air Horns, whistles, bells, vuvuzelas, cow bells, etc.)
- Skateboards, Segways, Scooters, Rollerblades, Bicycles, Hoverboards
- Coolers, Ice Chests or Pointed-Tip Umbrellas
- Patrons Without Shirt, Bottoms or Footwear
- Drones (unmanned aircraft systems) or Other Model Aircraft
- Non-Service Animals
