Boulder Fitness
One of the best benefits of rock climbing is the increase in muscle mass and tone. This class will target muscles in the arms, chest, back, core and legs. This class is great for those who don't have a lot of time to fit each muscle into its own workout. Boulder fit can give a great full body work out in one hour of fun exercise!
Cardio & Climb
Join us for this exciting addition to the Fitness Class Schedule! Cardio & Climb will focus on 2 separate areas, building up your endurance, and strengthening your climbing skills at our very own K-Rock Climbing Wall.
Co-Ed Volleyball League
Just because it's summer doesn't mean volleyball has to stop! At MacDonald Island Park we take the opposite approach and start our summer volleyball league so you never have to take a break from your favorite game.
Family Climb Time
Climbing fun for the whole family, ages 4 and up.
Lead Climb Belay Certification
Lead climbing is an advanced aspect of rock climbing and is not often practiced by novice climbers. Lead climbing and lead belaying are complex activities that require a number of factors that are not present in top rope climbing.
Mi Sport
MI Sport is available for athletes of any age for a variety of sports. Our qualified trainers have extensive knowledge in sport conditioning, sport nutrition and mental training.
Mi Sports Camp

MacDonald Island Park has revamped the summer camp program to get back to what we do best - sport and physical activity! This year our camp will feature activities such as swimming at the Syncrude Aquatic Centre, basketball, climbing at the K-Rock Climbing Wall, golf, dodgeball and much, much more.
Mini Volleyball League

Volleyball is a very popular sport in local schools and MacDonald Island Park wants to offer a mini volleyball league to get children interested early! To help make the introduction to this sport easy and less intimidating games will be played on a badminton court with a 4-on-4 format.
Preseason Men’s Hockey Tournament
