- Mini Ice Rules
Mini Ice Rules
- All guests are required to wear wristbands during Public Skating.
- Children 7 years of age and under must be supervised by a caregiver 16 years of age or older.
- Food or beverages are not permitted on the ice surface.
- No horseplay/games.
- No skating backwards, figure skating maneuvers or excessive speed skating.
- Skaters are allowed to use skating aids provided. No balls/pucks/chairs/pylons/ strollers/sticks or any other item which might interfere with the safety of any skater while on the ice surface.
- Carrying of children is not permitted.
- All participants must be wearing skates while on the ice surface.
- All skaters 12 years of age and under and ALL beginner level skaters are required to wear a CSA Certified helmet.
- Wheelchairs are permitted on the ice during public skating allotted times and Leisure Pond skating under the following conditions:
- Wheels must be wiped clean prior to entering onto the ice
- All caregivers MUST be wearing skates
- Helmets are required by wheelchair occupants
- Wheelchair occupants are strongly encouraged to utilize the perimeter of the ice closest to the boards
