Welcoming spring as the Fox Den Lounge reopens on April 25
(Fort McMurray, AB, April 10, 2014) – The Fox Den Lounge is celebrating the end of winter and the arrival of spring by opening its doors to the community on Friday, April 25.
Situated at the Miskanaw Golf Club Pavilion at MacDonald Island Park, the Fox Den Lounge will be open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily this season, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
“It’s time to welcome spring and open the doors to the Fox Den Lounge for the season,” said Naved Noorani, Director of Hospitality for the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo. “The menu features popular favourites as well as unique new specialties, and we invite the community to come in and enjoy the atmosphere, great service and fabulous food as we end our winter hibernation. As soon as the weather permits we will also open what we feel is the best patio in town, overlooking the beautiful Miskanaw Golf Course.”
The Fox Den Lounge has introduced a tailgate element to the 2014 menu, which involves grilled dishes prepared on a BBQ on the patio. The highlight of the menu is an in-house cured and 6-hour smoked beef brisket sandwich, which is prepared in an onsite smoker. Also new to the menu is the half-pound, hormone, antibiotic, soy and gluten-free halal-certified beef burger, as well as a sterling silver premium beef steak.
Known for its lunch and dinner offerings of delicious appetizers, fulfilling entrées and ice-cold beverages, the Fox Den Lounge is pleased to now also offer a tranquil spot for breakfast to early morning golfers as well as community members and those attending meetings or conferences at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
