Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo welcomes new Executive Chef to the team
The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) is delighted to announce it is welcoming local resident Ken Bowie to the team as the new Executive Chef.
Bowie, well known in the region from his tenure as Executive Sous Chef at the Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre and Executive Chef at the Best Western Plus Sawridge Suites, is also active in the community with social profit organizations such as the Wood Buffalo Food Bank and Centre of Hope.
“We are delighted to welcome Ken to our team,” said Annette Antoniak, Chief Executive Officer of the RRC. “Not only is Ken well known for his outstanding culinary skills, but he is also known as a strong and dedicated member of this community. Most recently during the fight to save our community from the wildfire, Ken led a culinary team who remained in the region despite the challenging and dangerous circumstances to ensure first responders had access to nourishing, quality food. We look forward to Ken adding his skills, experience, expertise and community commitment to our dedicated team of employees, and we know the community will join us in welcoming him to our organization.”
