Regional Recreation Corporation Board of Directors welcomes new members
The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) is pleased to welcome five new members to the RRC Board of Directors effective January 2016.
On December 8, 2015 at the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) Council Meeting the following were announced as new additions to the RRC Board of Directors: Nicholas Germain and Francesca Shannahan (for a term of one year); Allan Grandison (for a term of two years) and Jonathan Grant (for a term of three years). Also announced were the reappointments of current RRC Board of Director Members Dave Tien and Mark Hodson (for a term of three years). RMWB Councillor Julia Cardinal has been appointed to serve on the RRC Board of Directors as a representative of RMWB Council, and Councillor Keith McGrath has been reappointed to the board as a representative of RMWB Council.
The RRC Board of Directors also includes Bruno Francoeur, Chair of the Board of Directors, Michelle Landsiedel and Mark Power.
“As the CEO of the RRC it is a genuine pleasure to welcome these new members to the RRC Board of Directors,” said Annette Antoniak, Chief Executive Officer of the RRC. “We are truly fortunate to have the guidance of a Board of Directors who bring their experience, skills and expertise to our organization, and I look forward to working with these new Directors as well as the current Directors serving on our board.”
The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo currently operates the facilities at MacDonald Island Park, including the Suncor Community Leisure Centre, Miskinaw Golf Club and Shell Place, as well as the Anzac Recreation Centre presented by CNOOC Nexen located in Anzac.
