Juno nominees Down With Webster rocks MacDonald Island Park
27-Mar-12
Five-time Juno Award nominees Down With Webster presented by Mix 103.7 FM rocked the crowd with an energetic performance at Nexen Field House on Saturday night.
The Toronto-based six-man rock rap group stopped in Fort McMurray as part of WINtour III. The band played tracks off of their second album release, Time to Win, Vol. 2, including “She’s Dope” “Big Wheels” and “Royalty”. Other crowd favourites included “Rich Girl$” “Your Man” and “Whoa is Me”.
“Down With Webster showed why it is currently nominated for Group of the Year and Pop Album of the Year at the upcoming Juno Awards,” said Tim Reid, Chief Operating Officer at MacDonald Island Park. “It was one of most lively performances we’ve had at the Island, and while Down With Webster had its work cut out for it, it topped its show from last year.”
The versatile Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (USS) and Philadelphia-based rap group OCD opened for Down With Webster.
