Juno Award nominees Marianas Trench coming to MacDonald Island Park

(Fort McMurray, AB, September 12, 2012) – 2012 Juno Award nominees for Pop Album of the Year, platinum Canadian pop punk act Marianas Trench presented by Mix 103.7 FM will descend on Nexen Field House on October 26 as part of its 12-city Canadian tour.
Touring in support of its third studio album, Ever After, Marianas Trench brings a collection of hits to MacDonald Island Park including “Cross My Heart,” “Haven’t Had Enough,” “Fallout” and “Desperate Measures.”
“Marianas Trench is sure to excite the crowd as it stops in Fort McMurray as part of its national tour in October,” said Tim Reid, Chief Operating Officer at MacDonald Island Park. “This Vancouver-based act is beginning to receive recognition on the international stage and is a welcome addition to our lineup.”
Tickets for this all-ages show go on sale Friday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. at macdonaldisland.ca or at MacDonald Island Park Guest Services, located on the first floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre. General admission tickets are $49 plus fees and GST, while Club tickets are $65 plus fees and GST.
Marianas Trench will be joined by special guests Down With Webster on October 26. Five-time Juno Award nominees, Down With Webster returns to MacDonald Island Park to deliver its popular hits “She’s Dope,” “Big Wheels” and “Whoa is Me.” Anami Vice will be the opening act in support of Marianas Trench with special guests Down With Webster.
