Inaugural Wood Buffalo Corporate Challenge proves hugely successful
(Fort McMurray, AB, October 1, 2012) – The first-ever Wood Buffalo Corporate Challenge proved to be a rousing success as the four-day event in support of Noralta Skating Club headlined a busy week at MacDonald Island Park.
Finning Canada took home the victory on the final day of competition on Sunday, finishing with 395 points to edge runner-up Coldwell Banker by five points. Suncor Energy came in third place with 355 points, while Spartan Controls and Keyano College rounded out the top five. Wood Buffalo Small Animal Hospital won the ‘Spirit Award’ for its infectious enthusiasm displayed throughout the event.
