Driving Range at Miskanaw Golf Club now open
(Fort McMurray, AB, April 17, 2014) –The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) is pleased to announce the Driving Range at Miskanaw Golf Club is now open.
Due to current conditions of the grounds at the Driving Range, hours are initially limited from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a maximum of 50 large buckets of golf balls available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Driving Range will close should the 50 buckets be played to allow for proper grounds maintenance.
“We’re excited to open the Driving Range today,” said Rob MacGregor, CPGA Director of Golf and Grounds of the RRC. “The grounds team has been working hard to prepare the Driving Range following a long winter and we’re happy to welcome our members and the community as we look to open Miskanaw Golf Course as soon as possible.”
Current conditions require the Driving Range be handpicked following the maximum number of buckets. The hours will be extended as soon as weather permits.

Miskanaw Golf Course will open as soon as possible, weather permitting. An announcement regarding official opening date is expected in the weeks ahead, while the Fox Den Lounge is set to open on Friday April 25.
