CMT Hitlist Tour trio delivers crowd-pleasing show at MacDonald Island Park
(Fort McMurray, AB, March 15, 2013) – Performing a wide array of hits from their respective collections, Emerson Drive, Doc Walker and special guest Aaron Pritchett energized fans with superb performances as CMT Hitlist Tour 2013 took centre stage at Nexen Field House on Friday night.
The concert was presented by Country 93.3 FM.
Following a collaborative performance at the 2012 Canadian Country Association Music Awards, Grammy-nominated Emerson Drive and Canadian favourites Doc Walker joined with singer-songwriter Pritchett to embark on their first tour together with the 16-city CMT Hitlist Tour 2013, which continues tomorrow night in Edmonton.
“What excellent performances from all three headliners tonight,” said Tim Reid, Chief Operating Officer at MacDonald Island Park. “As Grammy nominees, Emerson Drive is one of the best country acts in Canada and Doc Walker and Aaron Pritchett added tremendous depth to what was a special Friday night at the Island. They certainly brought down the house with all three acts on stage for the encore.”
The next announced concert at MacDonald Island Park is The Beach Boys presented by 100.5 K-Rock on Saturday, May 4. Club and Reserved seating is sold out for The Beach Boys, while General Admission tickets remain available at macdonaldisland.ca or at the MacDonald Island Park Box Office, located on the first floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
