A sure sign of spring in Fort McMurray as the Fox Den Lounge re-opens on April 23
In one of the annual signs of the return of spring to Fort McMurray, the Fox Den Lounge will re-open to the public on April 23.
Situated at the Miskanaw Golf Club Pavilion at MacDonald Island Park, the Fox Den Lounge will be open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily this season, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options. In 2014 the Fox Den Lounge expanded to include a Patio Tailgate BBQ element that has proven very popular with patrons at the restaurant.
“As we begin to see other signs of spring in the region it is time to re-open the Fox Den Lounge for another season,” said Naved Noorani, Director of Hospitality for the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo. “Our exciting menu for 2015 features some of our annual favourites as well as some new items for our customers to experience. Last year we had the honour of being voted the local restaurant with the ‘Best Patio to Spend a Summer Afternoon On’ by the readers of Connect Weekly, and as soon as the weather permits we will also open our beautiful patio so community members can enjoy an escape to the Island this spring and summer.”
Known for its lunch and dinner offerings of delicious appetizers, fulfilling entrées and ice-cold beverages, the Fox Den Lounge is an ideal tranquil spot for breakfast and a perfect retreat for Sunday Brunch, which begins on May 3.
