2016 golf season begins as Miskanaw Golf Club opens nine holes April 22
The 2016 golf season in Wood Buffalo has begun as the Miskanaw Golf Club is now accepting tee time bookings in anticipation of the opening of 9 holes on Friday, April 22.
“We’re very excited to open nine holes at Miskanaw Golf Club on Friday,” said Rob MacGregor, PGA of Canada Director of Golf at the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo. “We are getting the season under way and it is destined to be a great one as we have some exciting changes on the course, including rerouting the holes so eighteen holes of play now finishes at the Sly Fox Pro Shop and of course at the best patio in town at the Fox Den Lounge!”
The Miskanaw Golf Course has been recently redeveloped to create a modern, playable and contemporary course. In addition to this recent redevelopment, the rerouting of the holes allows for a more enjoyable and convenient player experience. The Fox Den Lounge is currently undergoing a renovation to reflect the recent golf course redevelopment, with a fresh and modern approach to décor for golfers and community members wishing to enjoy a relaxing and scenic dining experience. Details on the official reopening date for the Fox Den Lounge will be available soon.
A full listing of Miskanaw Golf Club membership prices and fees are available at miskanaw.ca. Fees for this initial opening are $60 for nine holes or $90 for 18 holes, including cart and taxes. Further information and tee time bookings are available through the Sly Fox Pro Shop at 780-790-1812.
