Put your worries “on ice.” Whether you’re a wobbly first-timer or a seasoned veteran, there’s no better way to spend an afternoon than on the ice. Get the guys together for an afternoon of shinny. Learn the graceful art of figure-skating with the Noralta Skating Club. Watch your child score their first goal as part of Fort McMurray Minor Hockey. “Hit the broom” in the curling rink, or simply skate your worries away on the leisure pond. Fun in the cold is our speciality!

Original Arena (Arena 1) Built in 1988, with seating for 200 (excluding standing room), the Original Arena (Arena 1) is home to the Noralta Skating Club. It measures 185 feet long by 85 feet wide.
New Arena (Arena 2) Built in 2007, with seating for 360 (excluding standing room), the New Arena (Arena 2) is 200 feet long by 85 feet wide.
Children’s Arena (Mini-Ice) Built in 2007, the Mini-Ice is perfect for 12 years and under hockey and ringette, children’s learn to skate programs and children’s recreational skate sessions. There is no seating available around the Mini-Ice, however there is a heated hallway with viewing windows into the Mini-Ice arena. The Mini-Ice is 100 feet long by 60 feet wide.
