MacDonald Island Park is home to the MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery presented by the Kirschner Family Corporation and many visual arts programs and workshops.

The MacDonald Island Park climbing wall is professionally textured to look and feel like a real rock face. The wall features 14 anchor routes, 3 auto belay routes and plenty of bouldering opportunities.
- Training & Courses
Get the training you need to ensure safety for those around you. Our professional staff teach various Lifesaving Society Lifeguard and Red Cross First Aid courses for ages 8 and up.

The Hub Family Resource Centre’s June Bug Family Festival presented by Syncrude is a fun-filled weekend of bouncy castles, glitter tattoos, facepainting, talent shows, crafts and more. Bring your family down for some fun in support of The Hub Family Resource Centre!

Sustainival events are ungated and free to enter with tons of fun, educational activities, community booths, games and carnival rides – all powered by renewable energy! Before you know it you’ll be flying through the air, playing fun eco-games and checking out the different booths set up throughout the event that showcase local organization making your community more sustainable!

Free family fun is back for Canada Day at MacDonald Island Park! Visit SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place on June 30th & July 1st for a variety of activities for the whole family including a Free Community Concert featuring Gord Bamford!
